How To Succeed

Is there something that you want? Do you have a vision of yourself and your future? You want that to happen? But you have times when it is slipping from you? You need to focus. Focus on you being there, focus on you getting there, focus on what happens and how your life looks like once you are there. Focus on that.

You are getting derailed when you are trying to picture all your then's life aspects. You don't need to figure all of them out. You only need to know that moment, and that alone. The rest will fall into place to create the moment you are envisioning and the feelings you envision having in that moment.

Win that Oscar, follow that adventure, take that step, be that person, breath it through your pores, and see that moment. See it, feel it, breath it, make it, be it. Focus! And ...

Make it Happen!!

NEVER Go Through His Phone!!

I kept saying I am going to tackle these matters, but I've postponed enough.

Since I am a woman, as you all know, I am going to talk from the woman's perspective, but it doesn't mean this isn't applying to men as well.

Sweet, wonderful, amazing ladies, never, ever look into your man's phone. Never. His phone is personal and it should stay that way. As should yours.

Innocent conversations you might find in there, will translate in your mind into passionate affairs. Reason falls when suspicion appears. The only time I looked into my boyfriends phone was when I wanted to buy him a tech thing that he had a picture of in his phone. That was the one and only time.

You are adding to your media account the best pictures of you possible. You like when people admire you, so you will always choose the best pictures of you to post. What if someone writes to you in private and conversation goes something like this:

- You're very beautiful.

   - Thank you. - you like the compliment, you're not savage, so you will answer politely.

- You have really great photos. What filter are you using?

And from this can start an entire conversation. You see it innocent. Someone asked, you answered, there's no romance involved. But, if your man is reading your conversation, he just might explode.

Now imagine the conversation is on your man's phone. You read it, make all the scenarios possible that would even put Hollywood writers to shame, and your attitude towards him changes to 180. When you are just about to blow up, you hear him say:

- Sweetie, you kept saying you weren't satisfied with how your photos look, have you tried the X filter? Some girls are using it and they are content with the result.

Now isn't that sweet? He was trying to find that out for you, to make you happy, while in your had WWIII was beginning.

And this is just an example ladies. Take it as it is.

Thank You

I'm in love. I'm in love with you, and with what it could be. I'm in love with the idea of us, and the future that I see. I'm in love with the image of me, being right there where I see myself. I'm in love, and that makes me feel the world as being mine.

The idea of love is so complex. We can love a person, a family member, a pet, an animal, a friend, a random person who does something wonderful and unexpected for us, a thing, a memory, a future image, a future self, a wish, a desire, the person we see ourselves becoming, the place we see reaching. And the list can go on and on.

I'm in love with the place I see myself standing in the near future. I am in love with the near future self, that I see standing exactly in the place that I have always dreamed of being.

I have been confused before, for quite some time, living in a world I thought it was what I wanted, trying to find that something that was always missing, and trying to find myself and my happiness. No matter what I did, how much I tried, it never soothed me, and I never understood why, until recently.

Now I know what my road in life is. My path, my way, my future. I know where I am supposed to be, and I am there, so close everyday. So close to you, so close to the near future me, standing there, thanking you all for your help.

I deserve the happiness, the joy that that will bring me, the "happily ever after", the Hollywood romance, the appreciation, all the love and appreciation that are coming towards me, all the moments of pure love that I am going to receive, all the genuine appreciation from the people who want to work with me, all the great colleagues who are teaching me so much, and to whom I am thankful. I deserve all these things, so full and so plenty. And I am so grateful to every person who is coming into my life to get me there, to that moment, on that stage, where I see myself and where I was always meant to be. Thank you. Thank you to all of you. I love you all. My life is better for meeting every one of you. Thank you for coming into my life to help me. I appreciate and love you.

Do What You Have To Do - Take Your Time

Surrounded by people, and yet, all alone. Is that you sometimes? Don't worry. We all feel like this at some point, a few times during our lives.

Sometimes we really are alone, it really is us against the world. But, sometimes, it is all in our heads. The people who don't understand us, the ones that fight us, the lonely road we have to take ... it is all us. We have the people around us, we just can't let them in. Because we are at such state that even the slightest thing can trigger a full range of emotions, so when they do the smallest thing that disturb us, we push them back, and our mind creates the information: "you don't understand", "I can't talk to you", "I shouldn't have said anything", "I have no one", "I am all alone" ...  That is us, rejecting from the get go what makes us uncomfortable.

You get to this point, when you have been through enough. When a number of people or situations disappointed you, and you are now acting involuntarily as a for of protection. This behavior of rejection triggers without your control, in order to protect you. Your mind knows it can't take any more, so she activates the mechanisms of protection at the slightest sign of danger, real or not.

You need to go through this to let your mind find peace, calm itself down, don't fight it. Let the situation pass, and after that, when everything is calm, analyze what happened, to see it the threat was real.

Just because you realize you weren't supposed to push that person away, it doesn't mean you won't do it again, or that it won't create a discomfort to be around that person. It might me a false sense of danger, but rationalizing it won't make your mind and body feel better when you are around that person or situation.

Try and avoid from ending up in that situation again, to have peace of mind. And if it is a person, not a thing or a situation that is making you uncomfortable, than explain to that person that it is not about them, it is about you, that you understand that they are trying to help, but that your mind can't accept that right now, and that when you will feel better you will come back to them.

Maybe they won't understand right away what you are saying, maybe they will get upset - confessing to you about it or venting to someone else, they have the right to do that as in their mind they were trying to help and you pushed them away, so give them that and don't hold it against it - but, believe me, if they truly care about you, they will understand, and when you come back all renewed and  well in mind and spirit, ready to be that good friend, brother, sister, daughter, son ... again, they will open their hearts again.

Take your time, do what you have to do, the people who love you will be there to greet you back with opened arms.

The Biggest Battles Are With Yourself

It is said that the biggest enemy is yourself, your own mind, and that is true. Most of the times, not the people around you stop you from doing what you want, or being who you want to be, but you are sabotaging yourself.

Have you noticed how when someone is telling you that you can't do something, that you won't succeed, that no one could and for sure you won't either - you get stronger, you get that feeling of "I can, no one did it before because there was no one like me, you'll see that I am the one who will make it, I'll prove you wrong". And you truly feel that adrenaline rush, the sense that you are truly going to succeed, and they will see that you had what it takes to make that.

When others fight you, you fight harder than you ever thought you had it in you. And that makes you feel stronger, and it pushes you further.

But, when your mind is the one fighting you, you cave in so fast that you can almost see yourself crawling like a baby, adopting the fetus position, trying to protect yourself. And, unfortunately, most of the times you give up fighting. You can't rationalize with yourself. But you should.

What does your heart tell you? How does it make you feel inside when you think about doing that thing, making that change, being that person? See yourself there: doing that, being that. How do you feel? Does it make you feel good? Does it make you feel like that is what you should be, or where you should be? Doing exactly that? Do you feel a sense of calm and peace when you see yourself there?

Then THAT is what you should listen to.

If when you imagine yourself there, it makes you feel good, calm and relaxed, that is where you are supposed to be. That is what YOU are supposed to be. So BE THAT.

Forget about what your mind is telling you. We are programmed to protect ourselves from hurt and failure, and this is why your mind is trying to stop you. But when you feel serenity inside and outside your body when you are imagining yourself there, than THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO DO, or BE.

So, BE THAT. Stop thinking about it, and start acting about it. Always keep in mind where you want to be, and how it makes you feel, and go BE THAT.
